Loading Data into MClust

PS: for MClust 4.0+ please download and use NPMK 4.2.2

Please also find attached PDF version with screenshots
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1, Download MClust (V3.5 or later) and the latest NPMK.

2, Put MClust under the Matlab path;

3, Put NPMK under MClust path;

4, Find BlackrockNEVLoadingEngine.m in the NPKM/LoadingEngines/MClust folder and then copy it to MClut/LoadingEngines folder;

5, Launch Matlab, use ‘Add with Subfolders’ to add MClust path;

6, type ‘splitNEVNTrode’ in Matlab Command line;

7, It will ask you to select the ccf file of your tetrode recording. This is to retrieve the tetrode group info from the ccf file. For the first time, it may take up to 15 mins to read through the ccf file;

8, Then it will ask you to select a NSx file. But you can just select a NEV file by changing the Files of type to ‘All Files’;

9, Matlab will split the NEV file into individual tetrode group and produce several new NEV files;

10, Type ‘MClust in Matlab to launch MClust’, Select BlackrockNEVLoadingEngine;

11, Check the box ‘Creat/Load FD files’, it will prompt you to select data file. Locate to your tetrode file folder. Change the Files of type to ‘All Files’, then you can select one of the tetrode NEV files;

12, Now you can use the MClust to sort the tetrode data.
